Opt Out families choose Opt Out because it provides students with a nurturing, informed environment in which their needs are met, they are deeply understood, and therefore they are free to learn and work through social, emotional, and academic challenges.

We are fascinated by holistic fixes such as diet, sleep, and nervous system regulation (operating in an engaged, parasympathetic state rather than a disengaged, sympathetic state commonly associated with hyperactivity, anxiety, sensory dysregulation, and emotional dysregulation).

Opt Out is a great environment for students who are naturally curious, crave independence and enjoy movement. Our multi-age classroom offers a broader range of developmental stages allowing ‘more space for your pace’. Many students who were stressed or lost in the shuffle of larger settings find their voice, their balance, their stride, here.
Of course, you never know until you try! After touring the studio, your student will be invited to visit for the day so all parties can better sense: Is this the right fit?

Community happens any time people band together for any reason, consciously or not. We like to focus on building a strong, connected community because the alternative - a loosely connected, up-in-the-air, noncommittal atmosphere - has not been proven to boost student achievement. Students learn best when they are safe, engaged, connected and supported.
